Assignments
The FLL Judges will be grading your team on the three components linked above. Make sure you all are working together in meeting these requirements! Even if you are especially skilled in one component, make sure you are doing your fair share in the others. Your mentors and coach will be here to support and help you along your FLL journey.

Please put on your calendars:
  • EVERY Monday - Preschool Yard 15 minute after school check in (ending before 2:10)
  • EVERY Wednesdays - after school
  • Saturdays from 9 - 11 AM 2/12 & 2/26
  • Innovation Expo March 5th virtually from SG
This is all I know about the Expo at this time:
1- Teams will present the project only, similar to a science fair. More details about the format and the schedule will be provided soon.

2- To prepare, your team should continue working on their project and use the GIA Rubric as a guide for your presentation.

3- From the NorCal Innovation Expo, FOUR teams will be nominated to apply to the Global Innovation Awards. Please know that nomination does not guarantee you a spot in the June event. Teams nominated must submit their project proposal online to be considered for the Global Innovation Awards.

4- Out of all of the regional winners, FIRST will select 20 semi-finalists to attend a Global Innovation Award Expo in June 2022 to then select the overall winner and 2 runner ups.

For more info about the Global Innovation Award Competition, check out the link below. It has a lot of useful resources for preparing your project for GIA.
