Proto-bot Robot Challenge

 Your proto-bot MUST be able to have the following skills in order to be chosen for the team robot.

Does your Robot:
  • Have at least 1 light sensor pointing down where the light is no further than 1 cm from the mat?
  • Have at least 2 places for attachments that are easy to change and hold on well?

Can your Robot:
  • Drop a height of 1 foot without any parts becoming loose?
    only performed by mentor
  • Move autonomously straight from the wood "home" to within 10 cm of the train tracks without touching them and back?  
    • MUST TURN by tracks 180° and come back to as near to the proto-bot starting point as possible.
    • Points will be given for speed and accuracy.
  • Turn EXACTLY 90°?
  • Bonus points if it can follow the black line THROUGH 2 intersections and change direction each time (3 separate directions).
